The second upload went through fine, but the first still sits saying it is upload but not making any progress.
I tried uploading a image to a server a couple of days ago and it bugged out on my and tried to upload twice. We have to reduce the size keeping good resolution and then our whatsapp status photos won't look distorted which can be achieved by following steps (i have also attached result pics at the end of the answer).
